WAIT! Don't exit my Blog... I've updated it!!!
We haven't had internet for about 3 weeks now... so now that we're back in the land of the living, I'm updating my blog!
Fun times in California!
I flew to California a couple weeks ago to visit our good friends the Harmans. We met the Harmans in Colorado, then Ed took a job in California and off they went! I had an awesome weekend, we went to the beach, layed by the pool, ate some yummy Mediterranian food, yummy sandwiches and yogurt. I got to play with Sarah (their new baby). Linds did my hair and I did hers! (I'm not sure if she was as nervous as I was for me to do her hair!) We played Nerts and Canasta (the favorites) and had some lovely girl-talk time! And to top off the weekend, I was able to see the The Fallows and the Zollingers! (Duke's sister's families).
What's wrong with this picture?
Okay, so I know you're so excited to see this picture. I was feeling left out that Duke's toe was posted on an earlier blog, so I decided to post mine too! Yes, that is my toe nail. It fell off a couple of weeks ago. My foot got munched by someone's cleats at one of my soccer games, and since I play every Wednesday and Friday, it never had a chance to heal, and just kept getting worse. Eventually came off!
Memorial Day Fun
The week of Base ball games
So, Duke was a proud husband a few weeks ago. Coming from someone who went to her first Major League baseball game with the Cheney family in San Francisco when Duke and I were dating, this is pretty funny... It started with Duke going with a friend to a baseball game to see the Giants here in Denver. His friend from school had an extra ticket, so Duke got the invite. I was pretty bummed, myself wanting to go, but I was going survive. Then, I got to work and my co-worker has season tickets, and she couldn't go, so she gave me her tickets! Yahoo! (this was on Monday) And, so, I invited the wife (tracy) of the guy from school that Duke went with and we went to the game as well. (rockies won) Then, Tuesday, my co-worker gave me her tickets again and Duke and I went again to see the Giants Vs. Rockies. (giants won). Then, on Friday, Tracy invited me to go to the game with her so once again to the game I go. And, finally... Duke worked on Saturday and there was a rare Saturday day-game, so I went to the game with our friends - Brad and Carena, in the pics. Two games with Duke, Two games without Duke all in one week!... :) I'll just mention that I did root for the Rockies when the Giants were in town (husband not so proud) while Duke rooted for the Giants. I couldn't help myself!
Coors field is pretty awesome. We are in the nose-bleeds, but still not a bad seat!
YUMMY! This is called a squishy... frozen lemonade! Can't beat that on a Very HOT Saturday day game!
