I just thought I'd mention my lovely trip to Rigby, Idaho last weekend. I left on Friday after work, arrived in Rigby at Midnight spent all day Saturday and Sunday with my Sister and her wonderful family and headed back to the SLC airport at 2:00a.m. on Monday morning - all to get back to Denver to work on Monday. Here's a summary of the shortest trip to Rigby ever!
Saturday morning we woke up, ate breakfast and went to Idaho Falls. When leaving Idaho Falls, we managed to eat some delicious candy from the Candy Cottage. This place was great. Just about everything we looked at we were asked if we wanted a sample of it, then by the time we left, we couldn't even eat the candy we bought due to having too much while in the store! Except for Carson and Aidan- they got two big lollipops and I think they enjoyed every second of eating them while we drove to Rexburg!
We dropped the kids off at Grandma Johns house and Timmie, Arron and I went to have lunch at the ever so delicious Millhollow. YUM! This is my all time favorite place to eat in Rexburg. Everytime I go, I get the hot club sandwich on wheat bread and for dessert - the blender with Chocolate icecream - with reeses blended inside and cookie dough chunks on top. You just can't beat the "Morghan special" :)
Then - on the way out of Millhollow, we saw "Screech". Screech was my car that Duke and I sold before leaving to Denver, Co. I couldn't believe it was still in Rexburg, Idaho! When we sold that car, 2 1/2 years ago, it had 195,000 miles on it! I took a picture of it on my phone to bring home to Duke... too funny.
We also managed to visit the lovely Dorm 4 - where I lived with Tiffany and met my forever friends Janine and Julie (and Tiffany)! My cousin from Arkansas is staying in Dorm 4 - so we picked her up to go have dinner at the ever so famous Craigos pizza.
We went to a craft fair and that night went to see some great Japanese drummers in the Hart building.
Sunday, we did the usual go to church and enjoyed the sunshine outside with the kids. We went to the park and fed the ducks and played games.
It was so fun to see Timmie, Aaron, Carson, Aidan and Brendon and I wish so much that we lived closer together! I had a wonderful time and hope to visit again soon :)
