I thought it was Springtime?!

Bet you wish you were in Denver! We're supposed to get 8-12 inches of snow by tomorrow morning with 45 mile per hour winds!

This is on our back deck...

Looking outside of our apartment...

Brrrrrrrr..... it's cold and snowy and windy! And, the best part is I'm already home from work :)

The mountains are supposed to get 2 feet of snow.... and YES! we are going snowboarding this weekend... yahoo!!!

Who's counting?

I don't know if any of you are counting, but we find out in two days where we will spend the next year with Duke's residency! What do you think? Our options are (alphabetically): Arkansas, Denver, Reno or SLC!

SF Giants

When Duke was in Reno, NV on one of his interviews, he found the "most awesome" sports store ever. He ended up coming home with a SF Giants shirt for him, one for me, and these cool cups. I think we will be rooting for the Giants this year!

Trip to Durango

While Duke was in Durango on one of his rotations, I was able to make a trip to see him. We had a great time! We went to Mesa Verde national park to see the cliff dwellings. It was very amazing to see the structures and how they were literally in the middle of the cliffs. Here's a few pics of the fun.

Baseball, Baseball, Baseball!

So, I would have never thought that the day would come that I, Morghan Cheney, would be excited for baseball season to arrive. I'm not sure how Duke did it, but I know I've had the words "how can anyone watch baseball" come out of my mouth before. I guess it takes going to a few baseball games and really learning the game to appreciate it. Although I'm anticipating that the Rockies will be an absolutely awful team this season (since their best player was traded to the A's and they are 0 and 7 in the pre-season), you still can't get enough games in that include a monstrous bag of cotton candy and a squishy (frozen lemonade)! Yay for baseball and go Giants!
