Duke snowboarding

Duke got to go snowboarding today, the lucky dog! He said this is the next trick I'm going to learn!

Duke playing basketball

Duke doing what he does best! He plays on an intermural basketball team and they play every Monday night. So, as you can hear from the clip I'm the lone cheerleader for the games :) Here he is showing his ultimate JJ Redick 3 point range! Go Duke!

Snowboarding with our friends Brad and Carena. They were doing snow sculptures so I couldn't resist taking pictures. The pic with all four of us above is close to the top of one of the peaks we like to ride.

Snowboard much?

I'm not sure why it's pink, but push play and it will work... technical difficulties, I guess... or user error. I'll say it's the technical difficulties!

So, I'm not sure how Duke talks me into doing these things... my heart races every time I try it! And you can see at the end of the clip how excited I was to land it!

Saying Goodbye :)

Okay, So here they go... saying goodbye to the plates that have been around for way too many years now! All of you old roomies should recognize these lovely plates :)

New Plates!

I decided it was time to graduate from my dollar store flower plates that I've had since my 1st year of college in the summer of 2000. I had to convince Duke that it was a good idea and that it would be oh so fun to go shopping for new plates... :) So, we started at one Bed Bath and Beyond and ended up having to go to two different Bed Bath and Beyond stores (way accross town from each other) before we were able to find the plates that I wanted and they were in stock at the very last store we visited, whew! And, by the end of the Journey, Duke was no longer convinced he was happy he decided to go, lol. He knew it was a bad idea from the start. So, I've attached a picture of the new plates, you'll have to let me know what you think

Hello from Denver!

So, I've been receiving so many fun invites to everyone's blogs that I just couldn't resist creating one! I succumbed to the inevitable peer pressure from Lindsey... thanks Linds! We'll see how I do with the blogging. Duke rolled his eyes when I mentioned it and said something to the effect of, "I wondered how long it would take before you started with that"! Since I'm not so great at updating on Duke and I and what's new in our lives, I decided I'd try to keep it posted. Hopefully I'll keep it up to date!
